Emily Hoppe

Emily Hoppe is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and PhD Candidate at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Her research focuses on early childhood and the impact of childhood experiences and neighborhoods on parenting practices. Emily is a certified Chicago Parent Program (CPP) group leader, co-facilitating CPP groups in public schools and children’s mental health clinics since 2011. Her favorite CPP principle is that parents are the experts on their children, and she enjoys sharing this and other parent training practices with future group leaders.
